Advantages
This Sunshower Plus offers many advantages. You can use warming infrared and UV light. The infrared from Sunshower consists of two wavelengths: the short wave (IRA) and the medium wave (IRB). IRA penetrates deep into your body and warms it up. It improves blood circulation, allowing waste products to be disposed of more easily. Thus, it reduces both muscle tension and joint pain. IRB is almost completely absorbed by the upper layers of the skin, creating the warm feeling. The Sunshower also has a UV function, which consists of UVA and UVB light. UVB light plays a major role in the production of vitamin D in the skin and UVA light penetrates deeper into the skin and converts the existing pigment into a light complexion.

Safety
Sunshower's UVA output is only 25% of the allowable UVA output for home use. Too much sunlight is not good for the skin and harmful to long-term health; let there be no mistake about that. As with so many things in life, the crux is in the word "too much. In the end, it's all about the dose. When it comes to the dose of UV light from a Sunshower, Sunshower speaks of a safe dose, when used once daily. Exposing yourself regularly to a low dose of sunlight ensures the production of vitamin D and allows the skin to become accustomed to UV light, without overloading the skin. However, Sunshower advises against standing in front of the Sunshower on days when the skin is exposed to the natural sun.
