About Botteganove

Botteganove's handmade tiles and mosaics bring together the old Italian craft and a contemporary vision in a beautiful collection, which is easy to customize by choosing quantities and color shades. The 'Clinker' is a special historic clay with a typical vitrified appearance in its surface. It is produced by firing at very high temperatures.

The Sand Banks - Barene collection was designed by Giorgia Zanellato and Daniele Bortotto. A collection of ceramic surfaces inspired by the lagoon of Venice and its peculiar landscape consisting of tangled canals, winding shores and semi-submerged vegetation. Federico Fellini described it as "a strange tapestry [...] an immense, magnificent Persian carpet."

A landscape where the boundary between the sea and the mainland is difficult to distinguish, as water and strips of land constantly mix and mingle: the land that emerges from the lagoon water at low tide is called salt marshes.
